Bed Rest Ramblings

I have noticed since I got pregnant, that the funniest little things, are so much funnier than usual.  Josh had me dying laughing the other night in bed over snoring.  I had to sit up to catch my breath.

I snore now.  Is this from gaining weight?  Anyway, Josh woke me up about a month ago and I've dared him to wake me since.  He hasn't;), but I still get to hear about it.

Bladder Control has got much worse since Carly has got bigger.  Laughing doesn't go along with it either!

This little girl is now rolling around everywhere and punching me like crazy.  It looks like my stomach is doing the wave.  FINALLY, Josh got to feel her move last night and she was pushing against me, we think with a foot, and he got to feel that too!  She's always stopped before when he's tried to feel her kick, I bet she's gonna play tricks on him all the time when she's older.  HAHA!

Bed rest so far, isn't that bad.  I know I have to do it to keep my blood pressure down and I thought I would have a BIG problem letting things go and letting other people take over, but with the fear of being put back in the hospital, I've decided there's just nothing I can do about this!

Thankful for family and friends being so willing to help out with meals and entertainment.  My mom has even been my Molly Maid:)  Love you all!

For the most part, I have just watched tv and took naps.  TV is no fun during the day time, although I have learned to like talk shows.  Going to try and start mixing it up with movies and reading.  My friend, Megan, is letting me borrow her Twilight series to read.  Also, going to watch my breastfeeding video again, I hope to be a pro at it and have definitely been learning alot!

Excited about the upcoming baby showers!  I know I just have to sit there, but it will be SO NICE to get out of the house for a little while and see everyone.

Really starting to daydream about our lil family! You know this whole process of getting pregnant to being pregnant to now having to induce labor hasn't been the easiest, but God has been with us through it all!  Can't wait to hold Carly and see her in her Daddy's arms too!  What a great day it's going to be!

  2. I enjoyed reading your post. It reminded me of when I was pregnant with my girls. I had high blood pressure with both of them. They are 21 and 19 now and the absolute joys of my life :) Stay well and good luck!
    Blessings!
