Back to Work

After more than 3 months out of work, due to being on bed rest then enjoying nothing but pure BABY time, it had to come time for me to go back to work.  I am still trying to find the balance, because it is hard juggling an infant & working from home.  I am VERY fortunate to have my Mom keep Carly on days that I need to go into the office or have to show property.  Carly has already went with me to show houses though, a past co worker I was working with, wanted me to bring her along.  Every client I have had thus far has requested me to bring her.....glad they are so understanding. 

My first official day back at work, Josh brought Carly to see me.  I teared up that morning when I had to leave.

Let's not forget

about our other baby! He went with us too!  He's still recovering from the trip today.

First Beach Trip

Since we were at the beach for the wedding we decided to stay a few extra days. 

First time on the beach. We couldn't stay long, it was soooo windy and we had to keep her covered with a blanket.

They Tied The Knot

My big brother finally tied the knot in the Outer Banks over the weekend.  It was a beautiful waterfront wedding on a dock & the weather was great. Congrats to them both!

My brother is also a fireman.

First Dance

2 Months

Carly, you are 2 months old today. You are such a sweet baby!  Everyone comments on how beautiful you are.  You are sleeping through the night, for the most part .  We still have you in your bassinet in our bedroom, because I am just not ready to put you in your crib just yet.  You can turn over when you are layed on your stomach & you are starting to "talk", it sounds like you are saying "OH" alot.  You have outgrown your preemie and some of your newborn outfits and are wearing 0-3 months, but still have plenty of room in those.  Your favorite thing is your swing & looking around at everything.  You are pretty easy to please and only get fussy when you are fighting sleep or really hungry.

Before leaving for the beach, I was packing the truck, slipped coming into the basement garage and grabbed onto the garage door rail.  BAD IDEA!  A trip to Prime Care and 8 stitches later we were finally on the road.  

First Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day was wonderful!  I am so fortunate to have our little girl here and healthy!  Feeling VERY BLESSED!!!
