A puppy in training.....
Oakley, my sweet dog, half kangaroo, cat terrorist, excited whizzer, and wild buck, he is. Are all puppies this crazy at times I wonder? I told him today we were gonna break him like a wild pony has to be broken! I think he has the dreary weather blues with us, but we had to expend some of that energy, so as of now the basement serves just as well for fetching as outside. He has a mind of his own and can be very stubborn, but he has met his match hopefully with Josh and I(the scorpios we are). I keep telling myself consistency will pay off. Beto is starting to settle somewhat with him, this means he doesn't hiss and swat at him AS MUCH! Pebbles after today...not sure what will happen with their relationship, Oakley was way to curious and lunged onto her...I was NOT happy! Beto is the dominant male pet around here, so she has always been submissive and timid. Bless her heart!:)

Poor Beto and Pebbles... they probably think this is some sort of hostel take over of their house!
ReplyDeletePuppy woes. ~~insert long sigh here~~ You and Josh will be fine. I just don't have a partner who is willing to train with me. Oh well, we do what we can do. Oakley will be just fine (I'm sure the neutering will help wonders too!)
Love ya!!
Oh, and Ghost Hunters. Rich got me started on it last year sometime. There are some nights when it doesn't bother me, but other times it freaks me out to no end. I typically have to watch them during the daylight. At night, Rich isn't here so everything looks like a ghost no matter what I've watched. :o)
